Ay Dios Mios: I cant believe it’s not COQUITO,


V’s Vegan Coquito.

The first time I tried coquito I was floored, Ay Dios Mios. It was the best Holiday Drink that I had tasted that wasn’t warm. After I picked myself up I asked more questions and was told that It was made with egg and condensed milk. I have to admit I was a little freaked out.   So here you go my recipe with out the huevos and La Lechera.   It’s a bit more watery than egg coquito, I’m a little no se about thickening agents, but if you don’t mind bananas add one to thicken it up a little, applesauce. 😉




  1. 15 oz.     Coconut Cream
  2. 15 oz.     Almond Milk
  3. 15 oz     Coconut Milk
  4. 3.5 oz    Bacardi Rum
  5. 2    oz     Kahlua
  6. Sprikles of Nutmeg or Cinnamon

Place it all in your blender for a few. I like to have it so that it heats up using the VITAMIX, Sip a little, put it in bottle and put in the fridge to cool.  Serve and sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon.  Salud.
